A study in smoke and stillness, this moon jar is shaped by hand and finished in the wild spirit and ancient art of horsehair raku. As the vessel emerges red hot from the kiln, strands of horsehair are laid onto its glowing surface — where they curl, scorch, and leave behind wisps of carbon, like ink drawn in flame.

Each piece is one of a kind, marked by the movement of fire and chance. No two will ever be the same.

These vases are porous by nature — not intended for water or food — but perfect for holding dried stems, standing solo on a shelf, or anchoring a corner with their grounding presence.
